2023

May 2023:

- Were chosen to be part of the FG

- Shared and discussed over 215 ideas with staff!

- Brought forward our takes/ideas to the new rule-set

- Shared our first goCode (Eurovisionwatchparty)

- Symmetry & Showtime were added

- Held the BIGGEST competition with over 200 winners! The ESC prediction comp!

- Focus Group Magazine was released including a goCode!

- Showtime’s ESC Finale watch party including 3 goCodes!

- We celebrated the Norwegian Constitution Day with competitions, an icon hunt, and a goTest!

- Julia, Nelly, and Alex return with 4 competitions and 5 goCodes!

- Symmetry’s first competition with a brand new locked JD set!

- Cannes Film Festival competition

- Many Projects in progress currently!

June 2023:

- The new celebrity Anth was introduced

- The first Junior Designer goPack by Vogue was released

- We introduced the PRIDE club

- We celebrated Pride further with goCodes as well as an icon hunt

- We celebrated our six-month anniversary

- The new referral program was launched

- The GoMarketeer competition with a locked prize by Applehoax took place

- We started our first Summer Camp with different camping-themed competitions

July 2023:

- We finished our first Summer Camp

- We started the Summer Party Tour 2023

- The FG started working in different hubs; creative, user response and user engagement

- Gemma Stone and Mysterious Man appeared

- New currency: gemstones that can be exchanged for items at Gemma Stone’s shop

- There was a new recruitment for Mods

- There was a new recruitment for FGs

- Dey joined staff on the Content Team

- Models with VIP can now layer 40 items

- The item-limit on model snapshots was removed

- We celebrated Disability Pride Month with new items

- We had our first mega go-Pack designed by Vogue

- Aeneid joined staff on the Admin Team

- Symmetry hosted the second social media giveaway with a locked prize by Petrikor

August 2023:

- GoSupermodel is now back on Twitter

- The 2023 Summer Party Tour ended

- We said goodbye to Gemma Stone for now

- The new focussers were announced

- The new moderators were announced

- Saraphina joined staff on the Admin Team

- Guest designers linnsikt and Raw made us swiftie-collections

- We had a surprise vintage collection

- The search for new Admins started

- Staff announced plans to establish a Diversity & Inclusivity Committee

- New nationality options were added

- The option to pick two nationalities was added

- All makeup items will finally have versions suitable for all skin colors

- The blocking system was updated

- Dance Show was brought back

- The second FG magazine introducing our newest focussers was published

- Two goPacks curated by the FG were released

September 2023:

- The search for members for the Inclusivity Group started

- The Focus Group hosted a B2S simulator

- Sketzmo, Dance Show and Backstage Rush rewards were increased

- We had our first JD weekend showcasing MissAuris

- Guest designer Priestley made us a “Pearls & Silk” collection

- A function allowing moderators to post anonymously was added

- A “Get help” button was added on moderators model pop-ups

- An “Owned” indicator was added for shop, wishlist and auctions

- Suzii and Prismatic joined the Admin Team

- Epione joined staff as Community Team Lead

- Luce joined the Admin Team and will also lead the Inclusivity Group

- We celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival

- 10 more pages were added to the friend message board

- GoBlog visits now gives fame

- Nerys joined the Admin Team

October 2023:

- We celebrated Black History Month

- We had a charity goPack inspired by Janelle Monáe, with all revenue being donated to The Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation

- The search for new moderators started

- Users now get a notification when quoted or linked in private club forums

- The profile editor was updated

- More fonts were added to the magazine creator

- The blocking feature was updated

- You can now report users for racism, bigotry and discrimination

- You can now go directly to a quoted post by clicking the arrow beside the post

- We highlighted Mental health (ADHD/ADD) Awareness

- We highlighted Breast Cancer Awareness

- We celebrated Spain’s national day

- November, now known as Chalcedony, returned to the Admin Team

- Snowfields, Sleeper, AnniSweet (now aNewA), Ivory and Chole! returned to the Moderator Team

- The search for a part-time Junior Designer Team Captain started

- Doctor X returned to spread chaos

- The pinball machine got a Halloween makeover by Oase

- The Junior Designers made us two Halloween collections

- Users competed in various Halloween competitions on two opposing teams; Vampires and Witches, the spooky scoreboard was made by Spigg

- We highlighted Ace Awareness Week

November 2023:

- Maze, Petrikor and theAmanda returned to the Junior Designer team

- An 18+ forum section was added

- We had two JD weekends highlighting Omashu and victoria.

- We celebrated Polish Independence Day

- An updated roadmap was presented, and can be seen attached to this post as well

- We highlighted Transgender Day of Remembrance

- We had a shop collection made by Guest Designer Frida

- A new feature allowing moderators to write anonymously from the moderator inbox was added

- Showtime returned and will be working as a consultant for the Campaign Team

- The new moderators were announced

- We highlighted International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People with an educational newspost written by the Inclusivity Group

December 2023:

- Aeneid returned to staff as the new Team Captain for the Inclusivity Group, Luce will continue as a regular member of the team

- New level requirements were added for writing in forums

- Harvey, Judas, Sincere and Sorority returned to the SMA team

- Applications for the SMA team were opened

- A feature allowing you to remove all owned items from wishlist was added

- A new feature allowing you to lock specific items when dressing up was added

- You can now add items that other users are wearing to your wishlist
